Before you set it out

  1. Brightness to max and auto-brightness off.
  2. Keep the screen on. iPhone: Settings › Display & Brightness › Auto-Lock › Never, and Low Power Mode off. Android: Settings › Display › Screen timeout › longest, and battery saver off.
  3. Volume all the way up and the phone plugged in.
  4. Yellow or orange tape over the flashlight.
